The YSSL Office will be CLOSED November 15, 2024 through January 27, 2025. The office will re-open on January 28, 2025.Email will be monitored sporatically during this time.
Registration for any new YSSL teams which will be playing the Spring season only are due February 7, 2025.If your team played with the YSSL in the Fall 2024, your team is already paid for the Spring 2025 season. However, you must still make any changes to their home field, game time, seeding request info, etc. and SUBMIT the team.
All releases must be completed by February 15 for a player to be eligible to join another YSSL club and play in the Spring season. If the player is released after this date they can be dropped from a club, but cannot be added and play for another YSSL club for the spring season.

A preliminary seeding will be released to all clubs prior to the seeding meeting. All changes or movement of teams only happens at the seeding meeting. No changes will be made after the time for an age group ends. At that time the seeding for that age group will be final. Each club must have a representative present for every age group they have a team participating. Just because you are happy with where your team is placed on the preliminary seeding, does not mean that they will stay there. If you do not have a representative present at the meeting, no protests will be allowed if your team is moved during the seeding meeting. (Please do not email the YSSL office asking that we be your representative at the meeting, or we ask for team placement in your stead.)

We will not be adding new teams at this meeting. All new teams must be added prior to the meeting. Please plan accordingly.
Important Notes about game changes:
** Be sure to "stack" your games for optimal referee usage!!
Example: Schedule your 8/9/10 games back to back, schedule your 11/12 games back to back, etc. It is easier for the assignor to schedule referee coverage when there are multiple games at a field one right after another.
All clubs will have two weeks to enter any games changes for free.All game changes must be entered online through the YSSL website using the game change button located on the team page.
(Do not email the YSSL office to make a change for you.)All games changes MUST be agreed upon by both clubs before they are entered on the YSSL website (The only exception is if the home team is only changing the field location. They just have to notify the away team and may make the change online.)If you reach out to the opposing club via email and you reach out to them via phone and they do not respond within 48 hours, involve the YSSL Mediator - Frank (ysslmediator@gmail.com) to assist in negotiation.
Do not wait until the end of the 2 week free period to get him involved.If you wait or do not involve the League Mediator and you are not able to enter the change until after the deadline, this will count as one of your free changes and the YSSL will not make an exception.
It is the club’s responsibility to make any changes, respond to any request for change, or follow up on any changes needed in a timely manner.
This is the last date new spring only team player registration may be submitted for the passes.

**If a game change is entered after March 15th it will count as one of the two free game changes given to a team each season.
Note: The initial schedule will have no games scheduled the weekend of Memorial Day.
After May 17, 2025 all game changes will incur a $75 game change fee.
** Be sure your team contact information is current on your YSSL profile to ensure the Champion badges are delivered to the correct address.
